James Slayton, Auburn's newly promoted Police Chief has stated "that most APD members live in Auburn, so officers would be assisting people in the community where they live."

The Auburn, N.Y. Police Department and Civil Service officials will be hosting a recruiting event at Booker T. Washington Community Center on Wednesday, August 4th, at 5:00 PM.
